4 Criteria to Judge Quality
Standard 1: Do they have their own factory or are they a trader?
There are many wood pallet processing factories in Yichang and surrounding areas, but there are also some "traders" without their own workshops — after receiving orders, they subcontract to other factories, adding a layer of profit, with quality and delivery not under their control.

Standard 2: Do they have export qualifications?
If your products need to be exported, the packaging manufacturer must have IPPC fumigation certification (ISPM 15 standard). Factories without this certification cannot handle export fumigation; they either outsource the wood boxes for treatment or use fake markings — both are risky.
How to judge: Request to see the IPPC fumigation certification. The fumigation mark on certified factories has a company code that can be verified with local customs/forestry departments. Qiulai has its own fumigation facility, issuing certificates upon shipment.
Standard 3: Do they have customization capabilities?
Wood packaging boxes are not standard parts. Each piece of equipment has different shape, weight, and transportation method. A good packaging solution requires designing internal fixing structures, selecting box types, and determining protection levels based on the cargo characteristics.
How to judge: Ask if they can produce CAD drawings. If they can do CAD drawings, it means they have design capability, not just imitating others. Qiulai provides a complete process: on-site measurement → CAD drawing → plan confirmation → custom production.
Standard 4: Do they have real cases?
"Having done it" and "knowing how to do it" are different. Manufacturers with cases in the same industry better understand your needs and potential issues.
How to judge: Ask to see cases and inquire about details — "What product did you make for XX industry? What problem did you solve? How was the result?"
