Choosing a pallet size is not based on preference, but on what sizes your logistics system supports:
- Shelves: The width of the shelves determines the maximum width of the pallet
- Forklift: The length and spacing of the forklift forks must fit the pallet entry points
- Container: Standard 20-foot container inner width is about 2.34m; 1200×1000mm pallets can be placed side by side with 2 units
- Automated Equipment: Automated warehouses have strict requirements for pallet sizes
If you are unsure, choose the 1200×1000mm national standard—this is the most common size in China, with high compatibility for equipment and transport.
